The Mahouts and owners of the Conservation camps get a good indicator when elephants are not interested in painting - as they eat their paint brush and other things. Elephants who are not interested in painting - don't paint. The elephant art that we represent is done by talented elephants who are well cared for. The elephants seem pleased with the applause of the audience and of course the bundles of sugarcane and bananas after the paintings are completed. The painting process actually provides needed stimulation for the elephants.

Tags: elephants, art, asian elephants, preservation of elephants

<clipSource>http://store.exoticworldgifts.com/prostores/servlet/-strse-450/Love-of-Elephants/Detail</clipSource>

truly useless website

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: How much does it cost to maintain this website? New research shows they may even build the brain's gray matter. In one study, healthy adults who ate the most omega-3 fatty acids had the most gray matter in three brain areas that regulate mood. How do omega-3 fatty acids help the brain? Scientists are still studying the connection. But they do know this: The omega-3 fatty acid DHA, is the major polyunsaturated fatty acid found in the brain, and is important for brain development and function.

Tags: brain health, healthy foods

<clipSource>http://www.webmd.com/balance/brain-food-quiz-results?redirectUrl=brain-food-quiz-results%26q1%3Dd%26q2%3Db%26q3%3Dd%26q4%3Db%26q5%3Da%26q6%3Dc%26q7%3Da&q1=d&q2=b&q3=d&q4=b&q5=a&q6=c&q7=a&x=33&y=9</clipSource>

When will the madness stop?

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: God forbid you should get a small tusked one..

Clip Source: www.safaribwana.com

The
shooting part of the hunt is fairly quick, usually a brain
shot is recommended at close quarters with heavy grain solids
from a large bore caliber. When facing the Elephant a frontal
brain shot is aimed at the third or fourth wrinkle below
the center of the eyes. With a side shot, aim for the area
between the eye and the ear hole or directly in front of
the ear hole where the hairy knob juts out. A heart shot
is a better bet when it is difficult to get in close to
the elephant, placed lower down, directly behind the shoulder.

hunting

Elephant hunting is done mostly on foot by following promising
fresh spoor until the animal is sighted. It is then determined
if the tusks are of satisfactory trophy size. Usually this
type of hunting involves hours of walking only to be disappointed
by a large bodied small tusked bull.

Tags: elephant hunts, killing, wild animals

<clipSource>http://www.safaribwana.com/ANIMALS/animpages/elephant.htm</clipSource>

How to shoot something beautiful

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: Asshole

Clip Source: www.livehunt.com

Tags: assholes, hunting, killing

<clipSource>http://www.livehunt.com/</clipSource>

Killers unite!

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: This makes me physically sick

Clip Source: www.livehunt.com

Tags: hunting, killing, sicko behaviour

<clipSource>http://www.livehunt.com/</clipSource>

More on WMitchell..inspiring!

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: Human bonfire comes back to motivate

Clip Source: www.wmitchell.com

To view Mitchell's Super Humans video, you will need Adobe Flash Player.
Author, speaker and spiritual teacher Byron Katie, known to most as Katie, was a mother and real estate broker in the 1980s who found herself spiraling into a severe depression. In 1986, after nearly a decade of struggling with depression, alcoholism, suicidal thoughts and eating disorders, Katie checked herself into a halfway house and rehabilitation center for women. It was there that Katie had an awakening and became filled with happiness, clarity and calmness that changed her life forever. She says she realized the cause of her intense suffering and depression "was not the world around her, but the beliefs she'd had about the world."

Soon, Katie started to share her realization with others and developed a process of self-inquiry called, "The Work." Through The Work—which includes answering and evaluating four key questions—Katie helps people transform their lives and end their suffering by changing their thoughts about themselves and the world around them.

Tags: spiritualism, self knowledge

<clipSource>http://www.oprah.com/article/spirit/inspiration/pkgoprahssoulserieswebcast/20080811_oaf_oss_bkatie</clipSource>

250 ways to make your cat adore you

clipped by: dollface701
clipper's remarks: My cat wants me to buy this book.

Clip Source: www.petacatalog.org

250 Things You Can Do to Make Your Cat Adore You Book
