1 can of beer
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Several clumps garden moss

You will also need a plastic container (with lid),
a blender and a paintbrush

To begin the recipe, first of all gather together several clumps of moss (moss can usually be found in moist, shady places) and crumble them into a blender. Then add the beer and sugar and blend just long enough to create a smooth, creamy consistency. Now pour the mixture into a plastic container.

Find a suitable damp and shady wall on to which you can apply your moss milkshake. Paint your chosen design onto the wall (either free-hand or using a stencil). If possible try to return to the area over the following weeks to ensure that the mixture is kept moist. Soon the bits of blended moss should begin to re-couperate into a whole rooted plant – maintaining your chosen design before eventually colonising the whole area.

We'll be honest -- we still kind of prefer the days when hacking Wiimotes and other household gadgets was the preferred method for extracting more enjoyment from one's vehicle, but we suppose there's no stopping progress. Starting in 2009 (a few years too late for the Fast & Furious crowd), General Motors will begin to offer up a $295 Reconfigurable Performance Display option in the Cobalt and HHR SS. Said display will enable easily distracted drivers to quickly see how many Gs they're pulling, enable / disable Traction Control, Stability Control and Competition Mode, and get a visual on boost, cam phaser angle, spark advance, engine torque, etc. Oh, and it totally adds 10-horsepower when installed alongside a spare NoS sticker.

Fisker Karma's recently announced hybrid sports car that generates motor noise through some external speakers might have received a good bit of derision when it first made itself known, but it now looks like it may actually be a bit ahead of the game, at least if a bill expected to be introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives ever actually becomes law. As AutoWeek reports, the bill was apparently prompted by concerns that hybrid and electric vehicles are a little too quiet, and pose a risk to pedestrians, especially the blind. To address that supposed danger, the bill reportedly demands that the U.S. Secretary of Transportation initiate a study to determine if a minimum sound level is in fact needed and, if so, require that automakers comply with it (possibly as early as 2010).

Favre's brother, Scott, told the Biloxi, Miss. Sun Herald that the quarterback will retire. The newspaper also reported that Favre has told Packers coach Mike McCarthy that he won't play next season.

Favre's retirement comes on the heels of one of his finest seasons in which he led the young Packers to a 13-3 record and the NFC championship game, losing to the New York Giants in overtime.

Favre ends his career having started an NFL-record 253 consecutive regular-season games -- 275, counting playoff games -- and also ranks first in NFL history in touchdown passes (442), passing yards (61,655), completed passes (5,377) and attempted passes (8,758). He also played in 22 playoff games, including two this January. His biggest postseason win came after the 1996 season, leading the Packers to a 35-21 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 31.

Are rear projection tv's really dead?

It was less than a year ago that I was looking at a rear projection DLP HDTV because they were the only way to get a good HDTV for not a lot of money. Now LCD's are so cheap it's almost pointless to buy a DLP.

LAS VEGAS - One HDTV trend that I could not overlook at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show was the near absence of rear-projection televisions on the main show floor. Why? Because they're basically dead.

Among all high-definition television technologies, the rear-projection TV (RPTV) continues to offer the best overall value for the biggest HD screen sizes. However, if the 2008 retail predictions hold true, the already steady decline of RPTV retail sales will plummet by more than 50 percent by year's end.

Sony's recent announcement that it will discontinue its entire RPTV line in order to focus its manufacturing efforts exclusively on OLED (organic light emitting diode) and LCD flat panel display technologies was but one sign that the tide was quickly turning for this once popular TV technology.

This unusual art installation took hundreds and hundreds of individual cooling fans, and tied them together with sensors that detect the movements of passersby to produce an amazing visual and sensory experience.

Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde worked with a team of technical wizards to create this mammoth interactive work entitled Flow 5.0. The display dynamically adjusts the speed and direction of the fans, reacting to visitors’ movements. The installation was constructed as two 10-meter-long walls which immerse visitors in the center of the artwork (and gives them a nice cool breeze while they’re at it).

The Price County Sheriff’s Department along with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating a deadly hunting accident.

Emergency crews were called to a rural area near the Town of Kennan at about 12:10 pm Saturday.

Upon arrival they found a 26-year-old man had been shot by another hunter.

The victim was taken to the Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith, where he was pronounced dead.

Right now, investigators say the shooting appears to be an accident and foul play is not suspected.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Wal-Mart locations will be selling Toshiba HD-A2s for $100 -- down from $200 -- this Friday. Ridiculous, we know. Blu-ray gonna fight back? We hope so, we'd really like to get our hands on one for under $300, and not just by using our hookup that sells gear out of his trunk, you know?

Most of us sit in a single position for the whole day in the office, and in the morning / evening drive all the way to our places. As a result at night, while going to bed, many of us experience a slight pain in the back.

DON'T IGNORE IT AT ALL.....this may lead to many further diseases and disabilities as well....

Don't panic, just do the following exercise for min 10 minutes every morning and shoot off the back pain.

Hey who needs to carry around a WiFi detector when they can just wear one instead? For $30, you won't need the WiFi detector, you'll BE the WiFi detector. This T-Shirt has a animated, removable decal on the front that lights up when it finds a 802.11 b/g network and the bars on the side light up to indicated the signal strength. You wouldn't want to cover that up with a jacket, now would you?

Three AAA batteries used to power the shirt sit in hidden, sewn-in pockets. Even though the shirt is 100% cotton, you can wash it in warm water and not have your WiFi range shrink. The shirt is a different story.
