Nah, only practice makes perfect, so the folks at Belgium's Hasselt University came up with the Twoddler: a hacked Fisher-Price activity board with buttons linked to predefined Twitter messages. Obsessive parents can put photos of themselves on the buttons, so that whenever those buttons are hit the Twoddler tweets something like "@mommy I miss you." We like this idea, but then again you'll never know if it's just someone else's kids bashing the buttons -- you'll still feel good anyway. They are determined to use the service the way they want, not just the way the tweet gods say they should. This is what happened to Jerry Seinfeld's ever-present classic Macintosh which, after all these years, has been replaced by a new iMac.

It happened in the "Seinfeld reunion" episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The iMac seems to be from the previous generation, not the 16:9 model. Jerry's classic Mac was only replaced once before, during the last season, with an Apple Macintosh 20th Anniversary.

It wasn't the only wink to the Cupertino company during that episode, but it certainly was the most significant sign of time change.

<clipSource>http://gizmodo.com/5411729/jerry-seinfeld-upgrades-classic-mac-with-imac?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+gizmodo%2Ffull+%28Gizmodo%29</clipSource>

Technology, Community, Relevancy: The 3 Social Pillars via @louisgray

clipped by: dgreplay
clipper's remarks: Louis elevates some core issues many have considered but good to review and he makes some great points as always. Meanwhile, even if all three of these core elements are solved for one person doesn't mean they are solved for everyone.

These three core elements? Technology, community and relevancy.
(Though not always in that order)
