One of the many (double) pages of my new zine that is becoming behind schedule because I can't stop trying to add just one more visual element (without the composition collapsing like a house of cards).

To me, 'more is more' until it is too much, but how much is too much? all I can do is trust my own sense of the ascetic.

When folded into the paper zine these pages will not connect visually but one of the many enjoyments is to see how the pages that will end up next to these two halves WILL connect. After all, the same artist will have done both with the same tools so there will be a common thread.

Defining tangible kinetic evidence of an individual act of expression as having meaning of their own is the same as remembering a memory or a dream. It has meaning but only to you, any attempt to intellectualize what is meant to be accepted verbatim is pointless.

I just picked this one up at the Art Alliance of Monmouth County gallery where it was in the previous show. It is mostly an oil painting but I added glittery acrylic to the moon and sky to make it more of 'fine art for kids' (and the kid inside you and I!)

Welcome to SHARE USA, Inc. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) community based organization established in June of 2000 for the purpose of helping those who are in need of medical or financial aid and who do not have other sufficient resources available to them.

Share USA is helping families in our local communities.

We have been able to assist a variety of local people suffering from serious illnesses, as well as others who were in severe financial straits. This is an opportunity for each of us to make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

The organization also provides financial and educational support to the Eva M. Russell School and the Casa Monte Plata Orphanage, both of which are located in the impoverished town of Monte Plata in the Dominican Republic.

19 Apr 08 - This group is for artwork, collages or artisticly altered photography, featuring the female form (face, hands etc). This isn't a group for only female artists but a group for artists that use the female form in their art!

Please, no standard, typical, ordinary, or non-artsy female body/face photography! There are plenty of groups for snapshots, models, art nudes, fetish photographs etc, lets keep this group focused on the artist rather than on the model!

All skill levels and mediums are welcome here but photographs are often subject to deletion as many of those are either un-modified snapshots, pruconas or snapshots that are simply taken from odd angles etc. Lets keep a certain hand-made quality to our art here and let the bigger groups show your other work!

Lovebirds

acrylic paints on canvas then sprayed gold then oil paints! It's getting done, slowly..

I'm trying to capture the feeling of 'gloriousness' hehe, is that a real word? But that's the word that comes to mind. I love combining realism with more abstract motifs and I love have multiple light sources as it makes the pictures come alive in your mind!
