clipper's remarks: More food for thought on confusing issues. This would take some of the reasoning away from the the theories as to the philosophical driving forces behind the Climate Change Cabal. We know these are one wing of a global dominance effort who've basically hi-jacked a manufactured issue, but I'd included depopulation as one of their backbone goals. Then again, this may be just propaganda so we think, "Oh! Maybe they ARE sincere. Maybe this isn't an ulterior motive behind climate change fascism."

One may ask, why was the global warming myth chosen to promote the new doctrine of globalization?

Just what it is and what causes it, is the problem.

The day before the House was to vote on a controversial energy bill destined to be the largest tax hike in American history, it was revealed that the Environmental Protection Agency had suppressed an internal report challenging the entire global warming myth.

Despite the importance of this study, and how it related to a debate about to ensue on the House floor, its existence and suppression went almost completely ignored by America's media.

This, of course, comes in stark contrast to regular and frequent news reports in previous years accusing the Bush White House of intentionally censoring the science of climate change.

Making matters worse, the media have no excuse for this current oversight for several House members held a press conference about this issue early Thursday afternoon (h/t NBer Joseph Johnson):

Health Insurance:Cheating The Honor System

clipper's remarks: The honor system may be fine in situations much smaller in scale and with less at stake. In instances where circumstances have placed people in the same position and role - at least on the surface as a statistic - as the intentionally dishonest, it is left to number crunchers to declare those who would appear as cheaters to be invalid. It is the dishonest who are more responsible for innocent parties being dubiously removed from the pool, thereby taking away their coverage. Assuming these cases could be resolved by a caring arbitrator to discern the difference between the unfortunate and the dishonest, maybe this factor could be cleared up.

I think it is likely that much of the most strident resistance is rooted in a valid sense that those in power are not just seeking a progress that progresses the American way, but one that is Post-American Progressive as a brand.

at any given time there should be many, currently healthy, honest participants chipping into the pool in order to cover the few in need at any given time. The health insurance model that has been in play has depended upon the element of honesty on the part of all who expect to ever participate in it. Those who have tried to wait until they need health care to participate in the health insurance model are playing dishonestly.

Was there pre-knowledge that the effect would be detrimental to consumers in the long run? Was the well-being of the people sacrificed in order to cause the state of healthcare to degenerate and costs to spiral out of control just so eventually the people would acquiesce to governmental control? After all, go back only to the Clinton effort. When that failed do you imagine Democrats wanted to see conditions improve or get worse? That answer is obvious. clipper's remarks: I have a pretty basic Comcast package and ever since I heard people complaining that they removed the MEssNBC, I found it up on stn.#128, away from the more "regular" channels, so I'd advise one to scan their sets, you may still have it. (I can't believe I'm helping anyone find the thing
Anyway, I think it would be too obvious for Comcast to make it any more scarce. Maybe it's just as well to keep those nutjobs (Olbermann, Matthews, Maddow,etc.) all in one place where they think they've really got something goin' on. Otherwise who knows what kind of hell they'd raise with their whining.

Independents are increasingly the people who would like only to return "things" to a place where they just make sense.Greater numbers want to see a REAL new type of leadership and fewer of them care which party they are from. Unfortunately the lesser educated among them, with lower impulse control, have rushed to the front with their signs. The "news media" have only been too happy to get their snapshots on their derisive portrayals of the Independent movement.

Republicans and Democrats are both on a road (granted one is in each lane, right & left, respectively) but that road is off the ground, and leading off and away to some loonyland where ponzi schemes work out all-right, all that counts is if you SAY you work for the betterment of the people who elected you, and endless money printing will eventually overcome any degree of debt no matter how many $quadrillion it totals.

They both have driven us into a degree of debt that is not salvageable.

clipper's remarks: With the right personalities, I'm sure that there would be far more in common than not in this struggle to make the system of providing health care make sense and work for nearly everyone. I believe much of the opposition means well, deep down inside, and they would just as soon see all citizens provided with reasonable health care. For policymakers, as well as those who feel the need to understand, it is important to learn enough so as to balance a sense of empathy and caring with a knowledge that self-sufficiency and motivation are robbed and diminished every time we just submit to the government and let them say, "Come to papa." Of course, it's the intuitive part that lets one know that those are even factors important to investigate, I do believe.

At least when it comes to technical matters. Now on the intuitive level, I think I even gain from a lack of certain preconceived perceptions. Thierry Magon de La Villehuchet, a well-respected French investment fund manager who put at least $1.4 billion of his clients' money -- and perhaps much or all of his own wealth -- in the hands of alleged Ponzi scheme operator Bernard Madoff, appears to have committed suicide in his Manhattan office, according to police officials.

De La Villehuchet, 65, was found inside the Madison Avenue offices of his investment group, Access International Advisors, at about 7:30 a.m. this morning and pronounced dead at 8 a.m.

A man accused of making more than $7 billion off the investment schemes of jailed financial manager Bernard Madoff drowned after having a heart attack, authorities said Monday.

Jeffry Picower, 67, was found at about noon Sunday by his wife, Barbara, at the bottom of a pool at their oceanside mansion. She pulled him from the water with help from a housekeeper. He died a short time later at a nearby hospital.

An autopsy conducted Monday found he suffered a heart attack and drowned, said Dr. Michael Bell, chief medical examiner for Palm Beach County. The death has been ruled accidental, and the heart attack was brought on by heart disease. Toxicology tests are pending.
