I saw a TV demo of this machine long ago but for some reason it has become almost impossible to find information on this Japanese invention.

Is it possible to create a sonic washing machine which cleans the laundry by bombarding it with soundwaves? It would be similar to the machines used in hospitals which use soundwaves to break up kidney stones. The sound waves would break down grease and dirt and leave the laundry clean and fresh without the need for water or detergents.

Eastside Catholic High School senior Jessica Terry studied her own tissue samples as part of her school’s BioMedical course.

A high school project to study and report on different tissue diseases became a lot more than a quest for a good grade when one student found the answer to a question that had puzzled her doctors for years.

Eastside Catholic High School senior Jessica Terry was diagnosed as a child with an indeterminable case of either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, but after hours of studying her own tissue samples, she found the answer; a granuloma, or a mass of cells, that signified Crohn's.

"This is something that pathologists had already done for her, had already tested for, and they didn't see it," said Mary Margaret Welch, instructor for Eastside Catholic's BioMedical course. "It's such a remarkable project."

Terry's conclusion came from a histology project, which is the study of tissues, and one of the major focuses of the class

Here in the United States, the MINI Cooper comes with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine or the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine in the Cooper S and John Cooper Works versions. In markets outside the U.S., MINI offers a version with a tiny 1.4-liter gasoline engine as well as a version with a diesel engine.

All that is about to change with the introduction of the MINI E, E for electric. It's the first all-electric production car offered to the American buying public by a major manufacturer, beating the rest to the market.

However, it isn't going to be widely available to the public for some time yet. The fast-charging all-electric MINI E is initially only going to be built in a batch of 500 cars, 250 for greater Los Angeles, and 250 for greater New York, so that the company can do a proper job of charging equipment installation and keeping up good communications between the users and the company over time. Model S sedan has anticipated base price of $49,900, up to 300-mile range and 45-minute QuickCharge capability

The Model S, which carries its charger onboard, can be recharged from any 120V, 240V or 480V outlet, with the latter taking only 45 minutes. By recharging their car while they stop for a meal, drivers can go from LA to New York in approximately the same time as a gasoline car. Moreover, the floor-mounted battery pack is designed to be changed out in less time than it takes to fill a gas tank, allowing for the possibility of battery-pack swap stations.

Tesla expects to start Model S production in late 2011. The company believes it is close to receiving $350 million in federal loans to build the Model S assembly plant in California from the Dept of Energy’s Advanced Technology Vehicle Manufacturing Program.

They replaced real journalists by yes men and pretty mannequins who claimed to be reporters but are nothing more than glorified prompt readers. Bloggers and aggregators came out strong because there was a need for honesty and a need to express dissenting opinion within the populace.
