As Jay Mohr departs in the season premiere, Jamie Kennedy joins the cast with Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad, Camryn Manheim and Christoph Sanders in Ghost Whisperer – The Complete 4th Season. CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced today that this release will be coming to stores on September 22nd. Not too many details are available yet, but specs provided show it will be anamorphic widescreen video, English 5.1 audio, and a running time of 1015 minutes.

In fake life, the couple stars together on Dexter, as Hall portrays the show’s serial-killing title character and Carpenter takes on the role of his unsuspecting step-sister, Deb.

As we inch closer to the season four premiere of this Showtime hit (scheduled to air on September 27), Carpenter was asked by E! News about the season’s main storyline: the appearance of a character known as “the Trinity Killer,” played by John Lithgow.

For those who’ve been wondering what happened to Meg, the sassy demon with a huge grudge against Supernatural’s Winchester brothers, she’s back! And Rachel Miner, the former Mrs. Macaulay Culkin, who got her start on Guiding Light and was most recently seen as a bisexual S&M practicing character on Californication, is playing the character, last seen in Season 2. “I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” creator Eric Kripke tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary. I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script.” So far, Miner’s been signed for one episode.

This comes on top of the previously reported casting of Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer. Satan is a nice turnaround for the actor, who played Lost’s mysterious God-like Jacob in May’s season finale, although he did portray Rita’s devilish abusive husband on Dexter.

A One Tree Hill rep is now confirming what I first hinted at in Ask Ausiello: The bitch is back!

Danneel Harris has closed a deal to reprise her role as pot-stirrer Rachel Gatina in at least seven episodes next season, beginning with eppy 7.02.

Harris made her Tree Hill debut as Brooke’s high school nemesis in season 3 but wasn’t made a series regular until season 4. She was written out in season 5 after only a handful of episodes, an apparent victim of the show’s four-year flash forward.

Meanwhile, Silas and Doug have better luck with their venture. After initially being turned down by a woman that’s renting out her dry cleaning store, their new friend (and business partner), the town sheriff, steps in and seals the deal. They now have a location for their medical marijuana store.

Translation: He’s about to make life hell for one Michael Westen.

Vance will appear during the second half of Burn Notice’s current third season, tentatively scheduled to air in early ‘10. The gig won’t conflict with Vance’s Mental duties since production on the drama’s first (and likely only) season wrapped months ago
