A cup of green tea a day could help keep your heart healthy, a study shows.

The drink was found to widen the artery which runs from the shoulder to the elbow by 4 per cent within 30 minutes - reducing the risk of blood clots.

Other research shows drinking green tea lowers 'bad' cholesterol and blood pressure, and reduces harmful liver enzymes.

Ship breakers in Bangladesh toil in conditions that resemble hell on earth, breaking rusting hulks by hand for little more than a dollar a day. But should we allow a former French aircraft carrier considered too dangerous for even these workers to be sent to the UK - complete with 700 tons of asbestos?

These men are willing to work in some of the worst conditions on earth for a meagre wage, yet now a ship too toxic for even them is being sent to breakers on Teeside in the UK.

The 32, 700 ton Clemenceau - once the pride of the French navy - has spent the past five years being moved around as officials tried to find a final resting place for the vessel which contains 700 tonnes of asbestos

The ship will be broken up instead by Able UK, which caused an outcry when it brought four rusting US ghost ships to its dock in Hartlepool in 2003. Campaigners against the arrival of the ships claim the firm is making the country a dumping ground for foreign waste

A gigantic catfish in Germany's Main River met its end this week when it suffocated after trying to eat a football, water police reported.

The 2-metre catfish was discovered floating in a sluice in Goßmannsdorf near Würzburg in the German state of Bavaria on Monday

the fish probably mistook the ball for prey.

Catfish are among the largest freshwater predatory fish. Jünger said the fish generally await their prey on the river floor, but sometimes pop up to snag birds from the surface.

SHOCKING surveillance camera footage shows a woman collapsing and dying on a hospital emergency room floor and then lying for an hour while staff walk past.

Two other patients move around the room, security guards walk past and one even stares at Green for about 20 seconds but the woman is left prone until one of the patients gets help after about an hour has elapsed.

The video is being used as evidence by lawyers suing the hospital for neglect and the alleged abuse of mental health patients.

The two security guards shown in the video and four other hospital workers have been fired over the incident.

The hospital had a lawsuit filed against it last year alleging horrific neglect and abuse of mental patients.
