How about the fresco of Adam, Eve and the serpent in the garden? Most depictions of the Garden of Eden show an apple tree, but not on the Sistine ceiling. As in an ancient Jewish tradition, the tree is a fig tree.

Blech finds it another hidden message. "I think this is one of these powerful proofs, that not only did Michelangelo know Jewish texts, but he felt it important to incorporate the ideas of these texts into some of these frescoes."

But there are those who

see hidden messages

there's a reason that all the figures on the ceiling are Jews, the ancestors of Christ and Christianity

By emphasizing only Old Testament figures

what he was trying to say was, why we have ignored our true roots?

a virtual pedestrian crossing

The Virtual Wall provides a barrier made up of plasma laser beams depicting pedestrians doing what they do best and any car that crosses that barrier suffers the consequences. Okay so maybe those lasers aren’t powerful enough to do any harm but the effect is enough to make drivers and pedestrians alike follow crosswalk rules to the tee.

This would be great until an emergency services vehicle such as an ambulance crashes because the driver’s vision was impaired.

Six fingers and three iPhones are enough to create a band, and Austria's iBand is living proof, having scored a hit on the Internet by converting the little gadgets into a guitar, a keyboard and a set of drums.

The Viennese trio first gained attention in February on the video-sharing website YouTube with its music video "Life is greater than the Internet."

The clip, showing a bird's eye view of six hands wearing fingerless gloves and typing away at three touchscreens, has since been viewed over 2.8 million times.
