Ossetia) is condemned.

And for you hypocritical democrats who want Obama, he already stated he would do the very same thing, invade Pakistan for the "war on terrorism"! (Objective commentary based on principle must spare none who violate it).

The hypocrisy is self evident, yet the MSM does not expose it.

The wars will NEVER end until the people make the government stop and refuse to support ANY leader who violates the very restrictive principles of just war and the Constitution.

Clip Source: www.reuters.com

Pakistanis furious over U.S.-led border raid

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan is determined to defend its territorial integrity, the country's foreign minister said on Thursday, as anger mounted over a raid by U.S.-led troops on a remote border village.

The pre-dawn helicopter-borne ground assault on the village of Angor Adda on the Afghan border on Wednesday was the first known incursion into Pakistan by U.S.-led troops since the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

Twenty people, including women and children were killed, officials said, and a new civilian government, more sensitive to public anger than the previous government, summoned the U.S. ambassador to lodge an angry protest.

Foreign Minister Shah Memood Qureshi said the raid was a shameful violation of rules of engagement agreed with U.S.-led forces in Afghanistan.

"We will not compromise on any violation of our sovereignty," Qureshi told the National Assembly.

Tags: bush, pakistan, war on terorrism, national sovereignty

<clipSource>http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSISL7139220080904</clipSource>

"The Sarah Palin Baby"

clipped by: blueridge
clipper's remarks: Watch Sarah Palin, supposedly 8 months pregnant, in this interview, in which she also consumes a latte and fudge (i.e. plenty of caffeine), something that doctors strongly urge pregnant mothers not to do. "Conservative...but not an ideologue", per McCain's inner circle.

Ms. Palin, and not Mr. Pawlenty or Mr. Romney, would reinforce Mr. McCain’s self-image, an adviser said. She had a reputation as a reformer in Alaska, she hunted and fished, and she had once belonged to a union. Just as crucial, Ms. Palin, 44, was beloved by the party’s religious base but did not come off as shrill. “She’s conservative,” Mr. Black said, “but she’s not an ideologue.”

Clip Source: www.nytimes.com

WASHINGTON — In the end, the choice of his running mate said more about Senator John McCain and his image of himself than it did about Sarah Palin, the little-known governor of Alaska whose selection has shaken up the presidential race.

McCain had wanted to name as his running mate his good friend Senator <A title="More articles about Joseph I. By consequence and definition then she can no longer be considered a "reformer". Like McCain, Obama, Pelosi, Hillary, and every other former 2008 candidate, the ultimate test of worthiness is not the American people but to the overbearing Lobby of a foreign government that sets the course of foreign policy in alliance with the neoconservatives--ensuring a continuance of the phony "war on terrorism"--to "make the world safe for Democracy" through wars for "regime change".

How quickly Washington transforms everyone, even from the remotest states, by coercing conformity to global democratic agenda and blind allegiance to Israel through the muscle of The Lobby. This trumps all other considerations, is the hallmark of foreign policy (and why wars never cease), which also in turn has consequences on the economy (high gas prices, national debt, value of money) and domestic policy as well.

Clip Source: firstread.msnbc.msn.com

From NBC/NJ's Matthew E. Of course it was a Hezbollah leader who has exposed this truth and of course will be denounced. But the facts remain true and easily verified. Israel (and the neocons, Cheney had a man in Georgia prior to the war) were behind Georgia's invasion (and murder of civilians) of South Ossetia who declared independence from Georgia over a decade ago.

What the Hezbollah leader says (mocking Israel) is true, they stopped Israel's (unjust) war against Lebanon (bombing 70 percent of the country's infrastructure in a "disproportionate response") which was part of a neocon-Israeli plan for a "new middle east". Russia stopped the neocon-Israeli plans for the recapture of Ossetia.

Clip Source: www.haaretz.com

Russia responded.

Congress needs to stop listening to White House propagandists and see the real story, before they start a new Iraq conflict, with Russia, and even towards world war (i.e. NATO versus Russia and allies)! And Congress needs informed people to help wake them up to these documented facts:

The Ossetians, a divided people with one section living within Russia on the north side of the Caucasus mountains, and the other in Georgia, generally felt more comfortable with Russian rule than as part of the new, post-Soviet Georgian state. A small and nasty war with Tbilisi in 1990-92 led to a declaration of independence
Is it not the Ossetians that have the stake in all this, who will govern and rule them?

Clip Source: www.opendemocracy.net

South Ossetia: the avoidable tragedy

Georgia and Russia have stumbled into a war that need not have happened.

The epicentre is South Ossetia, which is home to both ethnic Ossetians and
Georgians (the latter accounting for about a third of the 70,000 population). The destruction there has been appalling, and
it looks as though many hundreds of civilians have died, in the first place as
a result of the initial Georgian assault of 7-8 August 2008.

Ossetians fleeing the conflict-zone talk of
Georgian atrocities, including the indiscriminate killing of civilians.

in a second wave of violence, Georgians -
from Gali in Abkhazia to Gori in the north of the country - are fleeing and
dying.

Behind the explosion

Saakashvili went for the military option. The Georgian military launched a
massive artillery attack on Tskhinvali, followed the next day by a ground
assault involving tanks. This against a city with no pure military targets,
full of civilians

Ossetians

felt more comfortable with Russian rule

Tags: georgia, south ossetia, russia, bush, nato

<clipSource>http://www.opendemocracy.net/article/south-ossetia-the-avoidable-tragedy</clipSource>

Georgia's Pres. Argue with Georgia' s President if you do not like the plain facts that it shows!

Why did not the "liberal" US media show you this? Ask them!

Please let your Congressmen know that this documented proof contradicts the MSM and US government propaganda that has painted Russia as the aggressor in the Georgia conflict, while Russia responded to their attack on South Ossetia.

Conclusion: The same bi-partisan people, in government and media, who sold you the Iraq lies for war are selling lies about Russia for the same neoconservative agenda (and to get Georgia into NATO).

Clip Source: www.youtube.com

Tags: georgia, south ossetia, nato, bush, russia, congress, media, propaganda, war

<clipSource>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hil7k58bFJM</clipSource>

How to Start War with Russia--101 (Lesson from the Neoconservatives)

clipped by: blueridge
clipper's remarks: Bush Implements Neocon Lesson: Have Condi go to all the satellite states and sign missile placement deals about 100 miles from Russia, then sit back and watch Russia "invade or attack its neighbor" to disarm the threat. Meanwhile, this is precisely what the US was provoked by from Russia in the Cuban Missile Crisis!

Purpose? This is part of the neoconservative plan for "global hegemony" which Bush is now implementing just prior to leaving office, ensuring sparked conflict into the next presidency (which would also help McCain, although Obama is a CFR shill too), setting a continuation of the neocon agenda for another four to eight years.

Early in his pResidency Bush met with Putin in blue jeans at his Texas ranch. Now he will stab him in the back as he leaves office.

This is normal if one reviews US foreign policy since the 20th century and sets the stage for WWIII based upon dangerous absolute Alliances, as Condi refers to with Poland "as much as if it was a US territory"

Clip Source: www.breitbart.com

Russia warns of response to US missile shield

MOSCOW (AP) - Russia says its response to the further development of a U.S. missile shield in Poland will go beyond diplomacy.

The United States and Poland signed a deal Wednesday to place a U.S. missile defense base just 115 miles from Russia's westernmost fringe.

WARSAW, Poland (AP)—Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and her Polish counterpart signed a deal Wednesday to build a U.S. missile defense base in Poland, an agreement that prompted an infuriated Russia to warn of a possible attack against the former Soviet satellite.

Rice dismissed blustery comments from Russian leaders who say Warsaw's hosting of 10 U.S. interceptor missiles just 115 miles from Russia's westernmost frontier opens the country up to attack.

Rice said. The White House has denied (see previous clipmark) but award-winning journalist Suskind summarizes his sources and defends his allegations on Democracy Now (see first podcast "listen" link).

The second podcast, Aug. 14, includes House Judiciary Chair John Conyers who has already started an investigation under way which will lead to some kind of action. Conyer's stated the the Senate Intelligence Committee, headed by Jay Rockefeller, has the power to review classified documents to verify this.

Clip Source: www.democracynow.org

This vindicates my statement about the White House denial and that it was likely Cheney who considers himself "not a part of the Executive branch", but it was drafted on White House letterhead. We now have DOCUMENTED PROOF of a conspiracy to lie and fabricate evidence for war with Iraq!--all likely headed by Dick Cheney, chief of the neoconservative Fifth Column that hijacked the government by using 9/11 as their pretext for everything.

For Cheney to use White House letterhead to order a forged letter from the CIA is also a blatant usurpation of power, making use of power that is not his ("not part of Executive branch"). Yes, Georgia was the aggressor, Russia responded (whereas my clips said they conducted a pre-emptive attack because of evidence Georgia would attack South Ossetia).

From the day that the Russian tank brigade raced through the tunnel into South Ossetia, Russia has not made one wrong move. Mr Bush's remarks yesterday notwithstanding, In five days it turned an overreaching blunder by a Western-backed opponent into a devastating exposure of Western impotence, dithering and double standards on respecting national sovereignty (viz Iraq).

The attack was short, sharp and deadly - enough to send the Georgians fleeing in humiliating panic, their rout captured by global television.

Clip Source: engforum.pravda.ru

Vladimir Putin's mastery checkmates the West

What the world has seen last week is a brilliant and brutal display of Russia's national game, chess. And Moscow has just declared checkmate.

Vladimir Putin lost several pawns on the chessboard - Kosovo, Iraq, Nato membership for the Baltic states, US renunciation of the ABM treaty, US missiles in Poland and the Czech Republic. But he waited.

The trap was set in Georgia. When President Saakashvili blundered into South Ossetia, sending in an army to shell, kill and maim on a vicious scale (against US advice and his promised word), Russia was waiting.

It was not only Mr Saakashvili who thought that he had the distraction of the Olympics to cover him; the Kremlin also knew that Mr Bush was watching basketball, and, in the longer term, that the US army was fully engaged in Iraq and Afghanistan. From the day that the Russian tank brigade raced through the tunnel into South Ossetia, Russia has not made one wrong move.

attack was short, sharp and deadly

Tags: russia, georgia, putin, bush

<clipSource>http://engforum.pravda.ru/showthread.php?t=222167</clipSource>

The Israeli-Georgia Connection, $1 Billion and Oil

clipped by: blueridge
clipper's remarks: "A new [oil] pipeline is being built to bypass Russia".

The news about Russia's attacks on Georgia highlighted that oil pipelines were targetted.

Could this be the real reason Bush is speaking out against Russia?
