Things on Mac and iPhone for about a year now and I am in love it more than any other system I have ever had. This is so far the pinnacle of my GTD adventure.

i seriously don't get why Things looks more popular then Appigo Todo on the iphone.

For me i go with Appigo Todo on the iPod Touch 2G sync with Toodledo through WIFI.

I don't really use the web-based one, more like a very convenient backup. I have my list with me 90% of the time with Appigo ToDo.

Like the previous guy said this is the pinnacle of my task management exploration after coming along way.

I can see why someone who primarily uses the Touch would prefer Appigo Todo over the Toodledo app. It makes better use of color and has some other nice features. It does not have the same (extensive) feature set that Toodledo on the web has. The Toodledo app does reproduce most of that. People who are at their desktops more, who get more of their work from email or other digital sources, or who prefer a full-size keyboard

If you're a Muslim extremist captured while fighting your holy war against "infidels," avoid revealing information at all costs, don't give your real name and claim that you were mistreated or tortured during your detention.

This instruction comes straight from the pages of an official al Qaeda training manual, and officials at the detention facility at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, say they see clear evidence that detainees are well-versed in its contents.

Police in Manchester, England, discovered the manual, which has come to be known as the "Manchester document," in 2000 while searching computer files found in the home of a known al Qaeda member. The contents were introduced as evidence into the 2001 trial of terrorists who bombed the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya in 1998.

a cloture vote, requires 60 votes to obtain. If 60 votes can be obtained, then the motion to proceed would then be under a time limit of 30 hours for debate. If the Leader fails to obtain the necessary 60 votes on the procedural question regarding proceeding to the Health Care bill, the other option available to the Senate Leader is the use of reconciliation. This process was teed up initially by having the mechanism included and adopted in the 1st Concurrent Budget resolution. The advantage of Reconciliation is its immunity from filibuster and the ability to pass the bill with only a majority vote.

disadvantage is that bill opponents could use the ?Byrd Rule? to strip out all ?non-budgetary? policy provisions.

Regulators say that having taxpayers buy out the counterparties improved AIG's liquidity position, but why was it important to keep AIG liquid if not to protect some class of creditors?

Yesterday, Mr. Geithner introduced a new explanation, which is that AIG might not have been able to pay claims to its insurance policy holders: "AIG was providing a range of insurance products to households across the country.

Yet, if there is one thing that all observers seemed to agree on last year, it was that AIG's money to pay policyholders was segregated and safe inside the regulated insurance subsidiaries. If the real systemic danger was the condition of these highly regulated subsidiaries"where there was no CDS trading"then the Beltway narrative implodes.

In the fall of 2008 the New York Fed drove a baby-soft bargain with AIG's credit-default-swap counterparties. The Fed's taxpayer-funded vehicle, Maiden Lane III, bought out the counterparties' mortgage-backed securities at 100 cents on the dollar, effectively canceling out the CDS contracts. This was miles above what those assets could have fetched in the market at that time, if they could have been sold at all.

The New York Fed president at the time was none other than Timothy Geithner, the current Treasury Secretary, and Mr. Geithner now tells Mr. Barofsky that in deciding to make the counterparties whole, "the financial condition of the counterparties was not a relevant factor."

This is startling. In April we noted in these columns that Goldman Sachs, a major AIG counterparty, would certainly have suffered from an AIG failure. And in his latest report, Mr. Barofsky comes to the same conclusion
