Make Your Own Lie Detector - Parts You'll Need

Parts you will need...These should all be pretty easy to find.

1. Project Enclosure
2. 4.7K Resistor
3. 82K Resistor
4. 0.01uF Capacitor
5. 2N3904 Transistor
6. 2N3906 Transistor
7. 2-AA Battery holder
8. Small circuit board
9.Spare PC speaker
10.Velcro
11. Aluminum foil
12. Wire
13. AA Batteries

You will need a soldering iron/station, solder, screwdriver, hot glue, small drill bit and wire strippers.

Following the schematic shown here, build the circuit. Take your time and make good solder joints.

nstall everything in the project enclosure leaving just the Finger Pad leads exposed through drilled holes. I also drilled holes in the box so you can hear the speaker.

Using a strip of Velcro (soft side), cut a piece of aluminum foil the size of the Velcro.

Remove the sticky side of the Velcro and attach the aluminum foil with one of the Finger Pad leads under the aluminum.

Make a Flashlight Like This One

$100 Super Bright Flashlight for About $10!

You'll need to gather some materials:
1 Eveready Contractor Industrial Flashlight
3 123 3 volt Lithium Batteries.
1 Radio Shack KPR112 Krypton Flashlight Bulb

5/8" Drill Bit or file.

Steps:
1. Disassemble the flashlight, removing the AA batteries (if installed) and factory lamp. Unscrew the top and then unscrew the small lamp housing to get to the lamp.
2. Install the Radio Shack lamp and re-assemble the housing
3. Drill or file down the ridges inside the flashlight to make room for the 123 batteries
4. Install the 3 Lithium Ion batteries and screw on the bottom.
5. Turn it on!
(Optional: Kip painted his black satin to make it look like the real thing.)
