Developer Edition allows developers to build and test any type of application with SQL Server on 32-bit, ia64, and x64 platforms. Developer Edition includes all of the functionality of Enterprise Edition, but is licensed only for development, test, and demo use. Each license of SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition entitles one developer to use the software on as many systems as necessary and additional developers can use the software by purchasing additional licenses. For rapid deployment into production, Developer Edition can easily be upgraded to SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition.

To protect members, Wesabe designed the add-your-bank feature in a way that eliminates any possibility of fraud or phishing. When a member enters in a new bank name and website, the new bank is only added to their individual list, not the main Wesabe database. Prior to adding the new institution and website to the master list where other members will see it, Wesabe carefully verifies the validity of the bank and the website address. In this way, any attempt to send members to a fraudulent website will be immediately detected and thwarted.

The SE2300 cans keep it safe with a tried-but-true over the ear clip-on design and a nifty tether too keep track of the little things all mitten-style -- quite festive indeed. The A2DP headphones boast of an 8 hour rechargeable battery and AVRCP support to control your player wirelessly. Creative includes a Bluetooth dongle with the bundle, but you can sync with other Bluetooth devices just fine. The $99 pricetag seems just about right, but while these should be out in Singapore just about now, we're not positive when they'll be hitting the States.

"Happy Ice Cream" - The Art of Jinxing in Japan

I passed one of my (Japanese) coworkers in a tight area between desks today and we both said 'Sumimasen' (Excuse me) at the same moment. The first thought that came to my mind immediately after was 'Jinx!' I was rather delighted that I had dredged up that old childhood memory that I wanted to share it with her. However, I had no idea if there was a Japanese equivalent. Most likely not as those kinds of gems are cultural, not essentials like saying you're sorry.

But that wasn't the best part. I then began to explain to the younger coworker how I used to use it as a kid to solicit free favors from people ala 'JINX! Buy me a Coke!' (Or simply 'jinx'. There are probably as many ways to say it in the US as there are Americans.) And she then said, 'OH! HAPPY ICE CREAM!'

So we looked it up in one more dictionary, and sure enough, there it was... jinx. Listed as an American slang term in reference to superstition. Holy cow.

The ominous demon Ryuk from the anime and manga Death Note is the ambivalent Shinigami (shin = death + gami = god), with his piercing stare and long, boney arms. This is a very large and detailed Ryuk character figure. iPhone Doesn't Support A2DP

clipper's remarks: I just learned what A2DP is, today. You see, I'm in the market for a new pair of headphones and thought I'd do some research. A2DP allows you to stream high quality stereo sound to bluetooth headphones. There are some nice A2DP-capable noise-canceling headphones out there, but, since the iPhone doesn't yet support A2DP, it looks like there's no point in me buying them.

So I think I'm just gonna go with a regular pair of noise-canceling headphones for the time being. Once the iPhone supports A2DP, I'll consider selling my headphones or gifting them to family and then buy some nice A2DP noise-canceling headphones that also have a mic.

No, iPhone has no A2DP Bluetooth profile, and it has been a real surprise. It only offers HSP/HFP Bluetooth profile (Headset Profile/Handsfree Profile) for mono headsets, which is not enough – you can use it only for phone conversations. A2DP's first distinguisher is Stereo of high quality for music listening.

You can try using Bluetooth dongles, if you don't mind paying another hundred of dollars and get a clumsy composition with another one device to charge. These are, for instance, Belkin Bluetooth Dock Adapter for iPod, Oakley iCombi Bluetooth stereo adapter for iPod, iMuffs Bluetooth Transceiver, or 8bananas STK-200 iPods Dock Connector which works good with iPhone, as users state.
