Fact Number One: It was liberal Democrats, led by Sen. Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, who for years — including the present year — denied that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were taking big risks that could lead to a financial crisis.

Life these days has become largely dependent on passwords - whether we're checking our emails, transferring funds or shopping online, passwords have their part to play. We're constantly bombarded with horror stories of security breaches, fraud, and phishing sites. Users are consistently told that a strong password is essential these days to protect private data. Why is it, then, that users on websites opt for the same, consistent, insecure passwords time after time?

Watch out for homonyms and homophones.

4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

Instructions:

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa:

Spoon in 1 egg

Pour in milk and oil, and mix well

Put in microwave for 3 minutes on maximum power (1000watt)

Wait until it stops rising and sets in the mug

Tip contents out of mug onto saucer and enjoy!

Mozilla has officially made history with a new Guinness world record for the largest number of software downloads in a 24-hour period.

So far there have been more than 28 million downloads of Firefox 3.0

Within five hours of Firefox 3.0 making its debut, DV Labs/Tipping Point reported a flaw that potentially let an attacker take over a PC if a user clicked on a booby-trapped link.

Mozilla says the number of downloads surpassed their expectations

Another boost for the open source browser comes with the announcement that it has increased its market share to more than 19% making it the second most popular browser after Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE).

Phil Bridge, a 21-year-old university student in the UK, has designed a cardboard bicycle that cost around $30 to make:

Supporting anyone up to 168 pounds, the frame, which costs around $6 to make, is made from the cardboard used in industrial packaging, whilst the wheels and chain are standard bike issue, and will cost around $24.

Phil Bridge, who is studying Industrial Design, came up with the idea as he was researching reasons why people don’t use pedal power to get around town. "A typical round town bike can cost several hundred pounds," says Mr Bridge. "That’s a large investment for people who aren’t sure whether they will use it. The idea of cardboard is to completely devalue the bike".
