1.	You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.

7.	Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8.	What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9.	Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10.	You will forget all this.

A Clipper's Journey... 100th Clipmark

My history with Clipmarks is quite fairy tale like. I was searching for Firefox extensions that would aide in Research and help me survive better in High School (I just found out I got into Richard Montgomery).

I was adequately impressed with the extension and the website. Also browsing through the site for days, I decided to create an account and post my own clip. My first clip was called "Some Facts about Bill Gates" and received quite some pops for a first clip. After that a slow stream of clips won me a few followers. Since my Clipmarks discovery was during my exams and I was busy enough with my end of the year speech, open houses at Blair and RM, I couldn't contribute much even to some heated debates, I would've loved to get into.

As summer began, I realised I had to make time, in other words ditch Clipmarks so that I could have a better chance of getting my summer work done. So to make sure the Clipmarks community remembers me I clipped some excellent stuff most of which easily made the POPular list and won me a steady stream of followers. After posting I wouldn't be around for a while and getting some great feedback from the community I started to hit the books.

I was back recently and started to flood the community with clips to make way for what would become my 100th Clip. Questions might've arised of Why the overall quality of my clips slipped after my return ? The answer is quite simple. Like Google I've been experimenting with a new method. Push out as many clips as possible and see a couple gain fame. You got nothing to see.

Oh BTW, This is my 100th Clip.

Worst Activists Ever

Every year in Pamplona, Spain, over a million people watch and/or participate in the Running of the Bulls. People – and by that I mean idiots – try to run ahead of a stampede of bulls in the narrow streets. The bulls have killed 15 idiots since 1924. I think you can appreciate the valuable service the bulls are performing.

Later that day, Matadors torture and kill the bulls for entertainment. It’s a popular vacation destination for the whole family.

The part that got my attention is that hundreds of animal rights activists always attend to protest. Many of the female activists protest by going topless and running with the bulls. That’s right: In order to make this event LESS popular, the female activists take off their tops and jog in front of onlookers.

Keep in mind that this is a crowd of people who hope to see bystanders get gored before the animals are all stabbed to death. I hate to categorize people, but which of these items do you think would have the best chance of discouraging folks that enjoy watching bulls get stabbed?

1. Classical music
2. Poetry reading
3. Tits

The thing that frustrates me most is that when I make people mad with my comic or blog, all they ever do is send angry e-mails. I never get the naked female activists jogging in front of my office. Apparently you have to stab animals to get the VIP treatment. This is the sort of thing that no one tells you before you become a vegetarian.

For the record, as far as you know, I am stabbing my cat with a Uniball pen right now. Bring it on!

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Some of the country's most notorious street gangs have gotten Web-savvy, showcasing illegal exploits, making threats, and honoring killed and jailed members on digital turf.

Crips, Bloods, MS-13, 18th Street and others have staked claims on various corners of cyberspace. "Web bangers" are posting potentially incriminating photos of members holding guns, messages taunting other gangs and boasts of illegal exploits on personal Web sites and social networking sites.

"I'm just being real and I ain't got nothing to hide," said Kristopher "Kasper" Flowers, 30, a professed member of the 18th Street gang with facial tattoos of "18" and "666." The main 18th Street gang Web site has a link to "Kaspers World."

Gangs once only roamed the streets of big cities but now can be found in 2,500 U.S. communities, according to the FBI. Police departments suddenly faced with the unwelcome arrivals are looking for help anywhere they can get it, including the gangs' own easy-to-find Web sites.

Direct Revenue Spyware Infected Company's Own Investors

We've followed the saga of spyware maker Direct Revenue for years. Back in 2004, they claimed they were changing their ways and becoming more transparent. Since then, we've noted repeatedly how the company continued its sneaky ways, eventually leading to a lawsuit filed in NY earlier this year. That lawsuit meant that a lot of internal documents were made public, revealing a lot about what went on at the company, suggesting it wasn't at all interested in really cleaning up its act. Business Week has now put together a very thorough piece using those documents and additional reporting to look at what was really happening inside Direct Revenue the past few years.

The story isn't likely to surprise many people. As if to answer our own question of how the company could possibly make money if it wasn't sneaky, the internal documents show that as soon as the company tried to be more transparent and less evil, people didn't want their software. That resulted in an email from one of the company's founders (that was written after those promises to be a good actor in the space) stating: "We need to experiment with less user-friendly uninstall methodologies." However, one of the more interesting stories concerns some of the investors who threw millions at the company (allowing its founders to pocket millions on their own as well). According to the Business Week piece, a managing director at one of the company's investors got infected by Direct Revenue's software, and couldn't get rid of it (of course). Eventually the company had to send its customer support director over to their investors' offices to fix the machine. Makes you wonder just what sort of due diligence the investors actually did before investing in this company.

I think it would also be cool for backyard/garden especially if you design the landscape so that the grass itself is trimmed (and/or alternated with flagstones) like a chess board, eliminating the need for the rug/board as shown.
