The most important premise in a long distance relationship is trust.

A lack of trust can have different reasons: low self-esteem, bad experiences in your past (experiences in the relationship as well as early childhood experiences), insecurities, a deep belief that you don’t deserve love, etc.

For now I want to give a tip how you can minimize the opportunities for jealousy and at the same time keep your connection alive.

I recommend that you send each other something I call “daily-reports”.

Include a short report what you have done this today and the most remarkable experience of the day.

There are two very important requirements for this technique:

1. Both parties have to agree to do this.

2. No distrust and fighting if someone missed a day.

South Africa To Treat All HIV Positive Women, Babies

Jacob Zuma, the President of South Africa, has unveiled an ambitious new HIV treatment plan for his country. The President revealed plans Tuesday to expand treatment to women and their babies that are HIV positive.

The new policy is in line with the new treatment guidelines issued by the World Health Organization. It calls for HIV-infected pregnant women to be given drugs earlier and while breast-feeding. By treating all HIV-infected babies, survival rates for babies are expected to improve for South Africa, one of only 12 countries where child mortality has worsened since 1990, in part due to AIDS.

President Zuma caused a stir in the past for his belief that a shower could prevent AIDS. Luckily for him, he was educated on the matter and now believes otherwise.

South Africa tops the world in HIV cases. The nation has a population of about 50 million with an estimated 5.7 million people infected with virus.

Soul sold for less than £12

A graduate has sold his soul on an internet auction site for less than £12.

Artist Gareth Malham came up with the idea after watching an episode of the Simpsons in which Bart makes a similar transaction.

The 26-year-old, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, posted an advert on the eBay site and his soul was bought by a man from Oklahoma in the US, for £11.61 ($16.95).

Mr Malham said the buyer wanted a new soul as he had lost his own in a bet over a game of air hockey.

Members of the clergy have dismissed the sale as "dangerous".

Mr Malham, who lives in Byker, said he would sign over his soul by writing a legal document in his own blood when he receives his cheque.

"I'm more interested in the fact someone wanted to buy it.
