Go to Start > Run > and type in eudcedit - this will open up a font editor - allowing you to design your own custom fonts and characters to be used in things like MS Word.

mIRC 6.2 has been released! (July 28^th 2006)
Of course this new version addresses the buggies and most of the other comments and remarks we received after the previous release. Apart from that Khaled spend lots of time on the UTF-8 support that was added in the previous version. As you might know UTF-8 is a font encoding system that allows you to use fonts with strange, international characters. That of course helps a lot if you want to chat in your own language!

Question: Strange numbers and texts appear on screen after patching.
Answer: We don't know why this is happening sometimes but the problem could be resolved be re-installing the game and applying the patch afterwards.

I especially liked the "we don't know why this is happening" part...

Fehler:
Zahlenwerte und verschiedene Textausgaben sind nach dem Patchen auf dem Screen zu sehen, während man spielt.
Lösung:
- Wir wissen nicht, warum dies manchmal vorkommt, aber das Problem konnte durch eine Neuinstallation mit direkt nachfolgender Patchinstallation behoben werden.
- Evt. Ist der Entwicklermodus „Marvin-Mode“ angeschaltet. Sie können versuchen folgende Tasten zu drücken, um die Textausgaben auszuschalten:
- LEFT CTRL+S
- LEFT CTRL+M
- RIGHT CTRL+M
