Conservative radio talker Rush Limbaugh’s got a new sweetheart - and she’s nearly half his age.

Limbaugh, who turned 57 Jan. 12, told Page Two he’s been dating West Palm Beach resident Kathryn Rogers [who is 31] for the past six months.

Limbaugh, a radio entertainer known for his extreme rightwing views, is a vocal advocate of “family values” who has been divorced three times, and is currently unmarried.

Rogers has the quintessential trophy girlfriend job:

Rogers is director of VIP relations for the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee. Her job involves showing visiting NFL owners and the Tom Cruises of the world a good time when the next Dolphin Stadium Super Bowl rolls around in early 2010.

As a teenager, she raised money for an organization that Limbaugh views as an evil scourge — the United Nations.

Limbaugh’s struggle with addiction to opoids, including OxyContin, reportedly caused him to go completely deaf in 2001.

Gibson and his wife, Robyn, let some of their seven children roam the tony beach suburb north of Los Angeles unsupervised, and the kids "terrorize" the neighborhood, according to two residents.

One local tells us that Gibson's kids, a daughter, 26, and six sons ranging in age from 7 to 24, "are the holy terrors of Malibu. They do whatever they want."

According to one story repeated by neighbors, Gibson's high-school sons tried to buy two kayaks from a surf shop and demanded the store put them on credit. When told the family didn't have an account there, a source says, "They got very angry and started shouting, 'Don't you know who we are?' " (Staffers at Zuma Jay's and the Malibu Surf Shack, the two kayak stores in Malibu, say they don't recall such an incident.)

Malibu resident Shari Nassimi also finds the Gibson spawn wayward, but in an unspecified way. In a letter to the editor of Surf Rider News, Nassimi writes, "If Mr. Gibson would only pay attention to his own family and children, [who] have had issues of their own . . . he would [stop] perpetuating what he points to in others as evil."

Meanwhile, despite Gibson's apparent dislike of Jews, there are some he likes a lot. His long-time personal bodyguard is an Israeli, Avi Korein, 45, and his publicist, Alan Nierob, is the son of Holocaust survivors.

Now, Gibson has been asked to speak at an L.A. synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Jewish day of atonement, the holiest day of the year. In a letter obtained by TMZ.com, David Baron, the rabbi for the Temple of the Arts, wrote: "In our faith we are commanded to forgive when the offending party takes the necessary steps and offers an apology from the heart."

Fox News entertainment guy Bill McCuddy observes that Gibson's dad is known as a Holocaust denier: "You can't blame Gibson. He's just doing what any good son does. Trying to impress his father."

You might be surprised.

We all know that Square Enix makes the Final Fantasy games or that Capcom makes the Resident Evil games, right? Well, not exactly. One game development studio -- one of the biggest in the world, actually -- has secretly been behind a lot of the games you've played. And you've likely never even heard of it.

My fascination with Tose began at the Tokyo Game Show in 1999. I was walking by the Capcom booth with a friend of mine deeply entrenched in the Japanese games industry. We checked out Resident Evil Gun Survivor, the Resident Evil offshoot for PlayStation that made use of the light gun. My friend turned to me and whispered "You know, this game wasn't actually developed by Capcom...it was done by a company called Tose. But you're not supposed to know that." It certainly seemed plausible -- as anyone who's played the Gun Survivor games knows, they weren't quite up to standards set by the main Resident Evil games -- but how was it possible that this developer was working on the game and Capcom was passing it off as its own? And how was it that no one else knew about this?

Oren Zarif, a Ramat Gan resident practicing alternative medicine, recently adopted a parrot who swears uncontrollably, for NIS 15,000. According to Zarif, the parrot had belonged to an Orthodox patient of his who bought it for his children. But the feathered pet did not bring the family pleasure.

“The parrot would shriek out ‘maniac,’ ‘son of a bitch,’ ‘homo,’” Zarif relates. “My patient consulted a rabbi, and the rabbi ruled that the parrot should be slaughtered because he sins and causes others to sin.”

Zarif refused to allow the rabbi’s sentence to be carried out, decided to buy the cussing parrot off his patient. Even in his new home the parrot continued to behave without manners, which disturbed Zarif’s Orthodox patients. So Zarif consulted another rabbi, Meir Mazuz, head of the Tunisian Jewish community in Israel and head of the Kisse Rahamim yeshiva in Bnei Brak.

“The parrot must be muted with the minimum of suffering,” Mazuz ruled. “If that doesn’t help, he must be slaughtered.” He stressed: “It is very harmful for children to learn swear words. In a secular household as well.”

But Zarif refuses to accept the sentence. What’s more, now his wife is threatening to divorce him if he goes through with the execution. The solution: “I’m ready to donate the parrot to a safari or any other body that takes care of animals. At most, they can keep him away from children,” Zarif says.

The giant words seem jarring on the wall of a synagogue — “Resident Evil: Extinction” — and, indeed, they have stopped pedestrians in their tracks along West 34th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

The sign on the side of Congregation Beth Israel-West Side Jewish Center advertises the third installment of an apocalyptic, zombie-filled movie series based on the “Resident Evil” video game series. It was installed by OTR Media, which manages the sign space. And it has apparently offended no one in the Orthodox congregation, said the congregation’s rabbi, Jason Herman.

The billboard is a source of helpful income for building maintenance, Rabbi Herman said.

He said the congregation has the right to veto the advertising content but that OTR Media generally tried to be mindful of the synagogue’s sensibilities. For his part, he said, he tries to be judicious in using his veto power, limiting it to ads that use profanity or feature “immodestly dressed people.”

This Strato Cruiser Airship is a gigantic, helium-filled blimp that's got a gourmet restaurant, a spa, a swimming pool, a resident DJ, library, and private mini-offices. Yeah, it's pretty much designed for a super-villain, but I'm sure just kinda-evil rich people would enjoy it quite a bit as well. And while the design is loaded up with high-falutin' tech like carbon fiber skin, sectional helium chamber design and photovoltaic cells, it's still just a concept, and will probably stay like that for some time. — Adam Frucci

A culpa é do controle com sensor de movimentos, a grande vedete do videogame. O jogador opera não apenas apertando botões, mas manejando no ar o periférico em formato de controle remoto. De onde vem a violência? Preste aqui uma visita ao blog Wii have a Problem e descubra - em fotos e em vídeos.

Enumera-se preocupantemente o número de pessoas que quebram televisões, janelas, marcam paredes e até cortam o dedo em ventiladores de teto enquanto dão espadadas em Red Steel ou arriscam rebatidas virtuais e strikes em Wii Sports.

Foi pensando nisso que a Nintendo produziu o controle com um cordão anexo, para prendê-lo ao pulso, e evitar que o brinquedo vire um projétil desgovernado. Mas é aquela coisa: por mais que transpire em excesso nas extremidades, você nunca vai ser respeitado por seus amigos se jogar com a pulseirinha.

Pela contagem do blog, foram danificados/comprometidos até agora duas HDTVs, duas paredes, uma janela e um ventilador. Cartunistas já abordam o assunto. Faz uma semana que o console foi lançado nos Estados Unidos.
