She became the new face or shall I say the new face and body of Calvin Klein featuring her latest underwear pictures.

Clip Source: www.thehotmag.com

This is a departure from more slender body types that have typically been used in Calvin Klein Underwear ads. But this is not so much about a trend of being more curvaceous. This bra product is made for a curvaceous woman. At the same time, Huckabee's Michigan supporters met with McCain social conservative liaison Marlys Popma last night in Saginaw. Though ostensibly held to discuss how Huckabee's loyalists can help McCain, supporters of the former Arkansas governor also used the get-together to warn against tapping Romney, according to an attendee.

Women's Lib/Republican, Mattachine/FourSquareGospel feel it has the will,
the right, the duty to douse the kerosene, light the fuse. Every dimwit

of any author who dares to speak above a whisper or write above a nursery

each ripping a page or a paragraph from the book, then that, until
the day came when the books were empty and the minds shut and the library
          closed forever.

According to China expert, Darrell Ray, Director of the University of Tennessee's Agricultural Policy Analysis Center, "China has not been importing corn to grow her livestock industry. China continues to export more corn that she imports. With regard to grains, China has been taking care of China as if it were a planet on to its own, completely independent of what is happening elsewhere. . . .To attribute today's international grain prices to China essentially assumes that beginning two years ago the market decided there may be a need for China to become a net importer of some corn in the future, say 2012, and so bid-up the price of corn by double."

As this "let them eat rice" soundbite made clear, the debate over the food versus fuel issue is about as undignified as a full out real food fight at a summer camp cafeteria.

Clip Source: www.weeklystandard.com

Iowa Republican Senator Charles Grassley is among the most vociferous. "We have to have some humility on the issue on the of confronting". Evil has been been committed in the pursuit of good. *sigh*

McCain: "DEFEAT IT" huge applause. McCain went on to describe Radical Islam as the greatest threat of the 21at century. He said he would pursue bin Laden “to the gates of Hell,” Gotta love that.

Obama's most important advisers: Michelle (the "proud" wife, the grandmother "a typical white person", and then a bumch of politicians - Ted Kennedy, Nunn, Biden et al

McCain's most important advisers: Gen. Wow. By G-d this man has hubris.
So Obama applauds terrorists rights, eminent domain for private enterprise and leniency for child rapists. Good luck with that America.

He will probably make some safe pick made by insiders who don't have a clue.

Clip Source: rasmussenreports.com

Senator Tom Coburn is unknown to most Americans, but the strange workings of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics could end up making the Oklahoma Republican far more popular than he is today.

Currently, 65% of voters nationwide don’t know enough about Coburn to have any opinion at all. He is best known in Washington as "Dr. No" for battling his colleagues over wasteful government spending.

Coburn is a medical doctor who continues to deliver about 400 babies a year. When told that it would be a violation of Senate rules to earn such outside income, Coburn stopped collecting money. He actually loses money for delivering the babies since he pays for malpractice insurance out of his own pocket. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey found that 77% of voters say such conduct is appropriate for a senator while only 8% disagree.

When told that Coburn would ignore the committee and continue delivering babies for free, 75% voiced a favorable opinion of the senator

40% with a Very Favorable opinion

Tags: coburn, ethics, senate, healthcare, poll, politics

<clipSource>http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/senator_who_births_babies_gets_boost_from_voters</clipSource>

DNCC tickets wrap Obama in upside down flag

clipped by: n2sooners

Clip Source: hotair.com

Maybe the DNCC has kept track of the polling this summer and figures the Democratic nominee is officially in distress. That’s the only explanation for a silly gaffe by the convention committee for the graphics on their credentials for those allowed to see Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at Invesco Field. The holographic image uses an American flag motif with the blue field at the bottom, with Obama’s head emerging from it in one of the two alternating images

the Obama campaign says the flag is not upside down.
