At the same time, Huckabee's Michigan supporters met with McCain social conservative liaison Marlys Popma last night in Saginaw. Though ostensibly held to discuss how Huckabee's loyalists can help McCain, supporters of the former Arkansas governor also used the get-together to warn against tapping Romney, according to an attendee.

"We made it clear that we want Huckabee to be recognized," said Sipfle, an Oakland County lawyer who chaired the Michigan effort of the volunteer "Huck's Army." "When you snub him, you snub GOP votes."

"The primaries are over," Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom said when asked for comment about Huckabee's statements. "Now, the task of all Republicans is on uniting the party to help elect John McCain, not on sowing division."

<clipSource>http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/0808/The_Huck_effort_to_block_Mitt_for_veep.html</clipSource>

Neo-Coms are the threat

clipped by: jatfla
clipper's remarks: This article makes so much sense!!

Clip Source: www.jpost.com

Neo-coms are the threat

After the Berlin Wall fell, many Western analysts thought the successor to the Soviet Union would willingly give up its satellite states and move inexorably toward democracy.

"We have to have some humility on the issue on the of confronting". Evil has been been committed in the pursuit of good. *sigh*

McCain: "DEFEAT IT" huge applause. McCain went on to describe Radical Islam as the greatest threat of the 21at century. He said he would pursue bin Laden “to the gates of Hell,” Gotta love that.

Obama's most important advisers: Michelle (the "proud" wife, the grandmother "a typical white person", and then a bumch of politicians - Ted Kennedy, Nunn, Biden et al

McCain's most important advisers: Gen. Wow. By G-d this man has hubris. Have you read Clarence Thomas's, "My Grandfather's Son"?

The audience applauded (was that racist?

So Obama applauds terrorists rights, eminent domain for private enterprise and leniency for child rapists. Good luck with that America.

When the Pastor asked about his no vote on John Roberts, Obama stood behind it. I kid you not.

He will probably make some safe pick made by insiders who don't have a clue.

Clip Source: rasmussenreports.com

Senator Tom Coburn is unknown to most Americans, but the strange workings of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics could end up making the Oklahoma Republican far more popular than he is today.

Currently, 65% of voters nationwide don’t know enough about Coburn to have any opinion at all. He is best known in Washington as "Dr. No" for battling his colleagues over wasteful government spending.

Coburn is a medical doctor who continues to deliver about 400 babies a year. When told that it would be a violation of Senate rules to earn such outside income, Coburn stopped collecting money. He actually loses money for delivering the babies since he pays for malpractice insurance out of his own pocket. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey found that 77% of voters say such conduct is appropriate for a senator while only 8% disagree.

Abramoff unveiled the Eric Cantor sandwich, 'a tuna-based stacker,'
which, lamentably, was 'not quite [the] power lunch befitting' the
only Jewish Republican in the House. Hence a request by Cantor
... to switch his eponymous sandwich to roast beef on challah, 'a

* You think Dan Quayle is the dumbest Vice-President we ever had because he believed a flash card that misspelled "potato," but think Obama is a genius despite the fact he believes we have more than 57 states.

* You think the war in Iraq is unwinnable, but victory in the war on poverty is going to happen any day now if we can just get the Democrats back in charge.

That "world opinion" at this moment allegedly loathes America and Israel is a badge of honor to be worn proudly by those countries.
