What is the Geometry Regents exam?

In June 2008, the NY State Education Department administered the first Regents examination in Integrated Algebra. In June 2009, the NYSED will administer the first Regents examination in Geometry. This is the next step in transitioning from Math A and Math B to Integrated Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2/Trigonometry over the next two years.

How is the Geometry Regents Exam set up?

The Geometry Regents exam is divided into four parts with a total of 38 questions. All of the questions in each of the four parts must be answered. You will be allowed a maximum of 3 hours in which to complete the test.
