FBI Silences Agents On 9/11 Disclosures

The FBI has blocked two of its veteran counterterrorism agents from going public with accusations that the CIA deliberately withheld crucial intelligence before the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

FBI Special Agents Mark Rossini and Douglas Miller have asked for permission to appear in an upcoming public television documentary, scheduled to air in January, on pre-9/11 rivalries between the CIA, FBI and National Security Agency.

The program is a spin-off from The Shadow Factory: The Ultra-Secret NSA from 9/11 to the Eavesdropping on America, by acclaimed investigative reporter James Bamford, due out in a matter of days.

Pre-9/11 intelligence mishaps have been generally attributed to bureaucratic screw-ups -- a "failure to connect the dots," exacerbated by spy agency rivalries.

Rossini and Miller

The Pentagon has been struggling with what to spend money on in light of the coming financial squeeze, and now they have made their choice...everything!

Pentagon officials have prepared a secret budget estimate that they plan to spring on the next president right before they leave town.

It's only $450 billion more than the apparently disingenuous number they put out last February.

The draft of a new National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq says that the country is in danger of flying apart in a new spiral of violence provoked by unresolved conflicts between Sunnis, Shias, Kurds and other groups.

The findings seem to cast doubts on McCain's frequent assertions that the United States is "on a path to victory" in Iraq by underscoring the deep uncertainties of the situation despite the 30,000-strong U.S. troop surge for which he was the leading congressional advocate.

Another thomb, now it’s a Lenin Mausoleum - a place in Moscow city where mummy of Lenin lies under a thick glass cover so everybody can walk in and have a look at Lenin’s body. It’s still there even after almost 20 years of Communist regime collapsed.

It stands next to the Kremlin, right in the middle of Moscow city. For some strange reason a palm can be seen near it.

Before Soviet era there was a China town in Moscow city, separated with such a wall. Here the workers renovate it, next to them the book shop stands can be seen with books for sale. The wall was removed completely in a few years after.

Miller climbs into the minutiae of the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections-voter caging in Florida, ballot stickers in Ohio, and lots of unseemly details in between. His argument has been published as “Fooled Again: The Real Case for Electoral Reform in 2005”. In the end, he tells us that notwithstanding the reassurances of the mainstream media, we have no reason to be confident in the formally reported results of those two elections.

(1) Repeal the Help America Vote Act (HAVA).

(2) Replace all electronic voting with hand-counted paper ballots (HCPB).

(3) Get rid of computerized voter rolls.

(4) Keep all private vendors out of the election process.

(5) Make it illegal for the TV networks to declare who won before the vote-count is complete.

(6) Set up an exit polling system, publicly supported, to keep the vote-counts honest.

(7) Get rid of voter registration rules, by having every citizen be duly registered on his/her 18th birthday.

(8) Ban all state requirements for state-issued ID’s at the polls.

(9) Put all polling places under video surveillance, to spot voter fraud, monitor election personnel, and track the turnout.

(10) Have Election Day declared a federal holiday, requiring all employers to allow their workers time to vote.

(11) Make it illegal for Secretaries of State to co-chair political campaigns (or otherwise assist or favor them).

(12) Make election fraud a major felony
