The officials who responded to the accident could not believe that the Mini (and I) sustained so little damage. The other vehicle involved is a Chevy Tahoe. I was driving south on a one-way street and the other driver was driving west, also on a one-way street. The other driver ran a red light (that had been red for a long time) and appeared in the intersection just in front of me as I came through. I didn't even see them. I hit the passenger's side of Tahoe head-on, and the Tahoe rolled. In one of the pictures, you can see the Mini-shaped dent in the vehicle that is on its side. The driver of the Tahoe was unhurt and did get a ticket. We see the back of Cpl. Thomas O’Connor as he strides forward on the driver side of the sedan he just stopped on South Mopac Expressway. O’Connor speaks hurriedly. He sounds angry as he identifies himself by name and department and finishes the sentence with a demand for a driver’s license and proof of insurance. Five seconds have elapsed since he left the patrol car.

back in 1997." Everything about it, from the shape of the dashboard to
the
placement of the gas tank, was designed to maximize interior room, and
the iQ, like the &lt;A href="http://www.fiat500.com/eng/" linkindex="47"&gt;Fiat 500&lt;/A&gt; seems much bigger than it is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;hr size="2" color="#666666" /&gt;&lt;div style="padding: 10px;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align:left;"&gt;&lt;P&gt;The iQ also would give Toyota/Scion a strong competitor against the Smart ForTwo, which despite &lt;A href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/11/automobiles/autosreviews/11-smart-fortwo-ny.html" linkindex="50"&gt;mixed reviews&lt;/A&gt; has been a hit. &lt;A href="http://www.rttnews.com/Content/BreakingNews.aspx?Node=B1&amp;Id=728328%20&amp;Category=Breaking%20News" linkindex="51"&gt;More than 18,000 have sold&lt;/A&gt; since the car was introduced to America eight months ago.
