Nearly half are still at &lt;A title="Rano Raraku" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rano_Raraku"&gt;Rano Raraku&lt;/A&gt;, the main moai quarry, but hundreds were transported from there and set on &lt;A title="Easter Island" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_Island#Ahu"&gt;Ahu&lt;/A&gt; (platforms) which were mostly at the island's perimeter. Almost all have overly large heads three fifths the size of their body.
