PHILOSOPHY OF HOUSECLEANING

I don't do windows because ...

I love birds and

don't want one to run into a clean window

and get hurt.

I don't wax floors because ...

I am terrified a guest will slip and get hurt

then I'll feel terrible

( plus they may sue me.)

I don't mind the dust bunnies because ...

They are very good company,

I have named most of them,

and they agree with everything I say.

I don't disturb cobwebs because .

I want every creature to have a home of their own.

I don't Spring Clean because .

I love all the seasons

and don't want the others to get jealous

I don't pull weeds

in the garden because ..

I don't want to get

in God's way,

HE is an excellent designer!

I don't put things away because .

My husband

will never be able to find them again.

I don't do gourmet meals

when I entertain because .

I don't want my guests to

I don't iron because ...

I choose to believe them

when they say "Permanent Press".

I don't stress much on anything because ...

-Don't be overly solicitous.
-Be wary of topics they may not be comfortable with.
-If you want to do something with them assume you're going to have to ask.
-Don't take it personally if they want to escape after spending a few hours with you.

Don't take their quietness personally

That's what shy people do

they hang back and don't talk as much

It's not because they hate everyone and show it by not speaking to them. They're just a bit tongue-tied at first and need some time to warm up to the people they're with.

Don't ever comment on how shy or quiet they seem

it's kind of thoughtless and annoying

and never, ever comment on someone's shyness like they're a cute, shivering little lamb. Like,"You're shy? Awwwww!"

Take the lead in the conversation, but don't overdo it

I can vouch for this point from both sides. When I was shyer than I am now, I would often be reluctant to talk to a new person for all kinds of complicated reasons, but if they kept at me for a few minutes I'd start to relax and chat back to them. Now when I find myself talking to someone who seems a little quiet, I'll try to carry most of the conversation until they start to reciprocate more.

Give them a few minutes to warm up to you

Hit on a topic they want to talk about

If you have a 1.5 year old and a cat you know the two don't sit still for two seconds. This was one of those rare moments that comes along every once in a while. And as a rule usually happens when you don't have your camera nearby. This was an exception to that rule :)

A tale of online love inspired usually cynical New Yorkers this week to help a young man find the girl of his dreams after he spotted her on a crowded subway train

he train was so full that he lost her in the crowd when they both got off, so he set up a Web site dedicated to finding the mystery woman — www.nygirlofmydreams.com.

It worked.

He told the New York Post that he even received e-mails offering him love. "Some people said I'm not the girl but you're so adorable, pick me instead."

On Tuesday night a friend of the woman contacted him and sent him a picture so he could confirm her identity. "Found Her! Seriously!" a notice on his Web site said

The mysterious subway brunette was named on Thursday as Camille Hayton, an intern at magazine BlackBook from Melbourne, Australia, who also lives in Brooklyn

"This is crazy. I can't believe it's happening," Hayton, 22, told the New York Post.

"Unlike all the romantic comedies and bad pop songs, you'll have to make up your own ending for this.
