The monster in which they’ve been so accustomed to taming – has apparently taken on such gargantuan proportion that it is now becoming acutely unmanageable. The seeds of hyperinflation are slowly taking root, and may soon begin to expose themselves to the populace, and spread unabated. Unless our monetary and political stewards begin taking immediate steps toward fostering the adoption of a sustainable, pro-active, fiscally sound and transparent set of practical transitional protocols to construct a NEW sustainable system of money and credit – the current generation will no doubt, be bearing witness in their lifetimes, to an epic paradigm shift reaching critical mass – resulting in a 21st Century revolution to abolish and supplant the present fiat-currency system of money and credit.

Tags: money, finance, politics, economics, economy, fiat money, gold, investment, currency

<clipSource>http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/russo/2008/0303.html</clipSource>

Dollar Sinks Against Euro

clipped by: AcesLucky
clipper's remarks: Major Fed rate cut? Given that the European Central Bank is still expected to raise interest rates, unlike its U.S. and British counterparts, the euro likely will continue to rise and could even break through the $1.40 barrier before the end of the year.

The euro was trading at $1.3878 in morning trading in Europe on Wednesday, beating its previous all time record of $1.3852, reached in July. It closed at $1.3841 the day before.

However, he added that the euro was gaining some independent strength, as the European Central Bank is still expected to raise its key interest rate by the end of the year to 4.25% from 4.0% currently. The Bank of England, which has hiked its corresponding interest rate five times in the past year, is now expected to maintain its 5.75% level.

Tags: forex, currency, dollar, euro

<clipSource>http://www.forbes.com/home/markets/2007/09/12/euro-dollar-record-markets-currency-cx_vr_0912markets07.html</clipSource>

Religious quotes of people on (U.S.) money.

clipped by: AcesLucky
clipper's remarks: In God We Trust -- added [ in error ] to U.S. currency in 1957. Two analysts who have reconstructed money supply data after the Fed stopped publishing it argue a coming dollar collapse will set the stage for creating the amero as a North American currency to replace the dollar.

The reconstructed M3 data – the broadest measure of money – published on econometrician Gary Kuever's website, NowAndFutures.com, shows M3 increased at a rate of 11 percent in May, compared to 9 percent when the Federal Reserve quit publishing M3 data earlier this year.

Asked why the Fed decided to stop publishing M3 data, Kuever told WND, "The Fed probably wants to hide how much liquidity is being pumped into the market, and I expect the trend to keep pumping liquidity into the market will continue, especially since the economy is slowing down."

A dollar collapse is imminent, Chapman declared.

They should be placed where you think the market won't go!

Don't put them in the path of the market. Put them where they are hard to get at. Then if the market does find them, you know with certainty that the trade wouldn't work (you gave it plenty of opportunity).

The problem happens right here. Most traders can't afford to use wider stops. They can't afford to put them where the market most likely won't go. Now what?

Tags: forex, currency trading

<clipSource>http://ezinearticles.com/?Forex-Trading---Stop-Hunting---What-To-Do-About-It&id=454375</clipSource>

Cognitive Biases related to FOREX trading

clipped by: AcesLucky
clipper's remarks: Plus a couple more...

Clip Source: healthbolt.net

Pseudocertainty effect - the tendency to make risk-averse choices if the expected outcome is positive, but make risk-seeking choices to avoid negative outcomes.

Status quo bias - the tendency for people to like things to stay relatively the same.

Zero-risk bias - preference for reducing a small risk to zero over a greater reduction in a larger risk.

Tags: forex, currency trading, investing

<clipSource>http://healthbolt.net/2007/02/14/26-reasons-what-you-think-is-right-is-wrong/</clipSource>
